In Direct Burial Applications, Durability is Everything
TiniFiber® Direct Burial Micro Armor Fiber combines a fully water-blocked core, with a stainless-steel coil design reinforced using a significantly increased volume of Kevlar®. The cable is engineered for resilience, and withstands even the harshest subterranean conditions, with protection against accidental cuts, crush forces, and temperature extremes.
Its compact and flexible design also simplifies installation, reducing trenching requirements and labor costs. With TiniFiber® you get unwavering connectivity for underground networks, ensuring long-term performance and peace of mind.
Protected from Accidental Damage
TiniFiber® Direct Burial Micro Armor Fiber implements a single-armor, double-jacket loose-tube design, with a tightly wrapped stainless-steel coil, High-density Polyethylene Compound (HDPE) compound casing and increased volume of Kevlar®.
This multi-layered defense provides exceptional crush resistance against soil compression and surface activity, while also protecting the cable from damage during installation or from accidental shovel strikes.

Protected from Water and Chemical Damage
Integrating a fully water-blocked core and a dry water blocking system, the new cable provides superior defense against moisture ingress. The robust HDPE outer jacket is chemically inert, protecting the fiber optics from corrosive elements commonly found in soil, ensuring the cable’s integrity and performance for decades.

Protected from Rodents
Rodents are a primary threat to buried cables and can cause catastrophic network failures if allowed to chew through the fibers. The stainless-steel Micro Armor acts as an impenetrable barrier, effectively preventing rats, mice and other burying rodents/animals from chewing through the cable and damaging the critical fiber optic strands within.
