TiniFiber Highlights Improvements in Fiber Density and Installation Cost at BICSI Beyond

Aug 25, 2026

Company showcases benefits of smaller, lighter, more flexible armored fiber technologies for indoor, outside plant and direct burial applications

LINDENHURST, NEW YORK – August 25th, 2026 – TiniFiber®, the innovator and patent holder behind the industry’s most advanced lightweight fiber optic cabling systems, has confirmed its focus for BICSI Beyond 2026. At the event, the company will showcase its range of smaller, lighter and more flexible armored fiber optics that enable increased fiber densities and lowered installation costs.

In addition to highlighting TiniFiber’s Micro Armor families, the company will also showcase the enhanced capabilities offered through the recent acquisition of CoreLinc. This includes a wider portfolio of services, strengthened logistical capability and an increased reach across North America.

TiniFiber’s Micro Armor family includes variants for indoor, outside plant and direct burial use. Each technology implements a protective steel-Kevlar® housing that is 75% lighter, 65% thinner and has a bend radius 50% smaller than the equivalent Aluminum Interlocking Armor (AIA).

These improvements enable greater fiber densities, with the cable able to be run through smaller, more tightly-packed conduits than AIA, and round sharper bends, while still offering leading levels of resistance to corrosion, rodent bites, moisture, temperature changes and accidental damage.

The technology also reduces the size of installation times by up to 30%. It has also been shown to reduce installation times by up to 40%, thereby lowering installation costs per 1,000 feet by 62.5%.

BICSI Beyond seeks to reduce the fragmentation across the connectivity sector and do so for all types of infrastructure: from data centers and campuses to cities. It is being held in Mandalay Bay, Las Vegas over four days from August 30. TiniFiber will be located at stand #928 throughout the expo.

The company’s technology is available for use in A/V and security, commercial, fiber-to-the-home (FTTH), medical, solar and renewables, transportation, data centers, and industrial/factory floors among other advanced applications. In addition to Micro Armor, visitors to the event will also be able to discuss the company’s pre-terminated MPO assemblies, its portfolio of tools and test solutions, and custom cabling options.

“The demand for more network capacity is growing rapidly but adding that capacity doesn’t have to mean bigger teams, larger vehicles or more complex installations. Micro Armor’s thinner, lighter and more flexible design helps streamline deployment and reduce installation costs. Combined with the capabilities we’ve gained through the acquisition of CoreLinc, we’re able to offer a more complete solution for customers looking to expand their networks efficiently,” said TiniFiber CEO, Tom Artinian.
